NOYTECH x Opticell

Tasks

To design and implement an efficient supply chain management system within a limited timeframe, including defining the logistics strategy, building a nationwide distribution network, establishing operational processes, selecting the optimal warehouse solution, and preparing the team for a rapid market launch.

What was done

The NOYTECH team delivered a comprehensive consulting project for Opticell, one of the leading brands in the Russian battery market.

The project began with an in-depth analysis of the market and the client’s business objectives. A key priority was balancing the speed of market entry with the long-term sustainability of the logistics model. NOYTECH specialists evaluated the client’s supply chain management approach and warehouse infrastructure requirements to determine the optimal level of logistics outsourcing.

Particular attention was paid to demand geography and transit times. The team analyzed transportation routes, seasonality, and regional delivery requirements, creating the foundation for a scalable nationwide distribution network. Based on this assessment, a lead logistics provider (LLP) model was selected, with NOYTECH acting as the integrator and central coordinator of the entire logistics chain.

To ensure effective implementation, a dedicated project management office (PMO) was established and a detailed roadmap was developed, covering every stage from strategic planning to operational stabilization. NOYTECH designed the distribution network across Russia, including transportation routes and tariff structures, while also developing end-to-end logistics business processes from the ground up.

At the same time, the organizational logistics model was built, including recommendations for team structure, employee onboarding programs, and the standardization of procedures and performance metrics. To improve operational visibility, a reporting system was introduced with detailed variance analysis and corrective action recommendations.

A dedicated workstream focused on designing a warehouse solution capable of supporting future business growth. The proposed storage concept enabled mechanized receipt of single-product pallets while providing flexible outbound operations for both full pallets and carton shipments, including mixed-pallet assembly.

In addition, NOYTECH organized a range of value-added services, including repackaging, labeling, document preparation, and the provision of consumables in accordance with end-customer requirements.
